D1 Arrival at Beijing

Welcome to China! Once you retrieve your luggage and go through the customs at Beijing Capital Airport, you will easily spot our guide warmly greeting you, holding a banner with your name on. A comfortable transfer will take you to the reserved hotel. After checking in, we suggest you have a good rest for the remainder of the day.

  In the morning, visit the Juyong Pass of the Great Wall, known as "the first pass in the world". It is surrounded by mountains and boasts beautiful scenery. Climbing the magnificent Great Wall is a refreshing experience. In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, Renowned for its beautiful gardens which were once enjoyed by emperors and their families, the Summer Palace is full of stunning lakes and ornate architecture. . Enjoy Beijing roast duck, which is known for its bright red color, tender meat, and fat but not greasy characteristics.

D3 Beijing (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit the largest city square, Tiananmen Square, and then tour the Forbidden City. a 15th-century palace complex which now houses a museum full of collections from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Admire the beautiful architecture, which has earned a UNESCO World Heritage-listing due to its influence on the architectural and cultural developments of East Asia and beyond. After that, taste the Traditional Beijing Copper Hotpot for lunch (individual pot). In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for good harvests. Houhai Park, an old Beijing hutong area, to experience the charm of old Beijing.

D4 Beijing to Xian (B/L)

After breakfast, visit the treasures of the former royal gardens, Yuanmingyuan. After lunch, take the high-speed railway to Xi'an. Arrive in Xi'an. We will provide pick-up service, and escort you to the hotel. No dinner is included today. *Tips: The high-speed rail stipulates that all luggage must be carried with you and cannot be checked. We can help you express it to the hotel booked at the next destination, or you can choose the "baggage handling service" at the train station, all for an additional fee.

D5 Xian (L/D)

For a span of more than 1,000 years Xi'an served as the capital city for 13 dynasties. Its history endows Xi'an with a great number of precious relics and historical sites. Terracotta Warriors and Horses is deemed the eighth wonder of the world. Discovered accidentally in 1974, this incredible army of over 7000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots in full battle array has guarded Emperor Qin's tomb since 210BC. Each figure is unique, and the painstaking repair and excavation continues in 3 pits which are protected inside huge hangars. 1.5 hours from Xian, there is also an excellent museum and film about the history of the vaults. Photos (no flash) are allowed. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Then get driven back to the city and visit Xian City Wall, the world’s most well-preserved city wall and and also one of the most magnificent ancient military defense systems. Its grandeur and excellent design impress every visitor there. The wall now stands with height of 12 meters, width of 15m at the top and 18 meters at the bottom. Dayan Pagoda, a famous Buddhist pagoda, and immerse yourself in the history and culture thousands of years ago. As night falls, visit the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City to appreciate its nighttime scenery and experience the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.

D6 Xian to Shanghai (B/L)

After breakfast, visit the artistic heritage of Buddhist architecture in the Tang Dynasty, Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Then, visit the external structures of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. After that, go to Gaojia Courtyard to watch the intangible cultural heritage performance of The Shadow Play. Take the flight to Shanghai in the afternoon. Arrive in Shanghai. We will provide an airport pick-up service, and escort you to the hotel. No dinner is included today.

D7 Shanghai (B/L/D)

After breakfast, go to the 88th floor of the Jinmao Tower and overlook the city view of Shanghai. Visit the Wukang Building, a French Renaissance-style architecture with a history of a hundred years. Tian Zi Fang, an old alleyway that embodies the local life of Shanghai. After that, visit The Bund, renowned as a gallery of world architecture. Along this 1500-metre waterfront, there are 52 buildings of various architectural styles such as Romanesque, Baroque, Neo- Classical, Beaux-Arts, Gothic and Renaissance. Proceed to Nanjing Road, known as one of the most prosperous streets in the world thanks to its countless shopping options. Visit Yuyuan Old Street, enjoy the folk customs of the old city of Shanghai. You can explore the local snacks of Shanghai.

D8 Shanghai Departure (B)

Free at your own leisure till the hotel check-out time (before 12:00 noon). Free transfer from hotel to Shanghai airport will be available at from 09:00am to 09:00pm .r you can organize it on your own. (Extension booking of the hotel room and extension tour to other China cities can be arranged at request with extra charge.
