New Zealand Tours Terms & Conditions

Your eligibility: 

You must be 18 years old or over. If you are under 18, you must book a tour under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Your responsibilities: 

Before making a reservation, it is your responsibility to read all relevant information regarding the tour you would like chose, including: price and notice, route description, inclusive fees, excluded fees, cancellation and refund policy, terms and conditions, and some special tips. Once you have read and fully understood all its content, you must not have any objections after purchase.

Ordering process: 

1. A booking confirmation will be sent by email or other means within 24 hours of your successful submission and payment. We will provide you with the relevant information in the confirmation.

2. You will need to print out your electronic confirmation and give it to tour guide on the day of your tour. Please remember that the confirmation is your proof of purchase.

Payment method:  

The Company supports bank transfers or deposits, credit cards (with 2% handling fee), Alipay or WeChat Payment (with 1.5% handling fee)

Full payment must be made 14 days prior to departure

Price inclusion and exclusion:

Please refer to the cost description in the specific itinerary for details.

Special circumstances:

1. Guest requirements or situational needs (such as single-person registration, but it is not possible to arrange a roommate from same tour group) and occupy a single room, single room surcharge will be applied (see the instructions in the specific itinerary). The company reserves the right of final interpretation of its room arrangement, guests may not object or withdraw by any reason.

2. If there are three guests requesting a shared room, the company will arrange a triple room which can accommodate 3 adults. The room variations include and is not limited to 3 single beds, 2 large beds, 1 large bed and 1 small bed, or a room type with a sofa bed or rollaway bed. If two guests need a double bedroom, we will arrange a room with a double bed in New Zealand standard double size of 137 cm x 187 cm. If you have special needs, please indicate with the company at the time of registration and we will try our best to arrange it. The company reserves the right of final interpretation of its room arrangement, and guests may not object or withdraw by any reason

3. Children ages 2 to 11 years old (12 years old or older calculated at adult price), infants ages 0 to 2 years old (2 years old or older calculated at children price).

4. Guests must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months and valid entry visa. Please note that the company is not responsible if you are refused at the time of entry by the local immigration department or customs, you are responsible for any additional accommodation and transportation expenses,  and there is no compensation for the related tours, no refund or regroup should be requested. Tour guide is not responsible for late guests that are delayed for more than one hour due to personal reasons, guests must find their own way to the hotel to catch up tour group at their own expense.

5. The company's free pick-up and drop-off is only available on the day of arrival and the end of the tour. Please refer to the specific itinerary for the time and place of the pick-up and drop-off. Guests that cannot make the scheduled times, please find their own way to catch up to the group at your own expenses.

6. The company reserves the right to adjust itinerary in case of any flight, hotel, weather or other noncontrollable factors.

Cancellation and refund options:

1. If guest decide to cancel an activity or meal during the trip. fees for activities or meals will not be refundable. Tour guide may stop guests from participating in activities if they are deliberately obstructing any group activities. The company is not responsible for any actions after guest leaving group, nor is the balance refundable.

2. If guest requests cancel a reservation, change tour group or adjust travel dates, please refer to the cancellation policy.

3. The transfer fee (including and not limited to bank fees, credit card fees, WeChat Alipay fees etc.) incurred during the payment processing are non-refundable.

4. All attractions, activities, meals and accommodation included in the itinerary will not be refunded if guests are unable to attend in time for personal reasons.

If you need to cancel your trip before departure, please contact us as soon as possible. Fines and refunds will be processed in accordance with the following rules:

(1) Operating fees

The paid deposit portion will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Cancellation/change of tour within 7 days of the departure date, 100% of the penalty apply.
If guest does not appear on the day of tour (No show), the booking will be cancelled, and tour fee will not be refunded.

(2) Flight tickets

Once an economy class ticket has been issued, it is not refundable for any reason at any time. All flight tickets change subject to the airline rules.

Insurance:

Guests are highly recommended to purchase travel insurance! In order to protect the expenses incurred under unforeseen circumstances, such as additional transportation expenses, cancellation fee, loss of valuables etc. If you voluntarily waive the purchase of travel insurance, you will be responsible for any expenses caused by accidents.

New Zealand arranges ACC Accident Compensation for its citizens, residents, international students and visitors, anyone in New Zealand does not need to worry about medical expense caused by accidental injuries. If you wish to receive a guarantee other than ACC, you will need to arrange travel insurance.

Liabilities:

The company only acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, restaurants and various types of sightseeing transport agencies. For the safety of passengers' baggage, each agency has different regulations to be responsible for passengers. In the event of loss of baggage, accidental casualties and property loss, it is irrelevant to the company when it is based on the safety regulations established by different agencies. Various issues about hotel accommodation, meals and tour procedures will be handled in accordance with the company's tour regulations. In case of special circumstances beyond the company's control, such as loss of documents, strikes, bad weather, typhoon, local flight changes, etc. , while travel program have to be changed or cancelled, the company reserves the right to handle it in its sole discretion, and the additional expenses and losses incurred are not related to the company. According to the company's regulations, members of the group shall not object to or cancel or withdraw or request a refund the cost for the unfinished itinerary.

Legal Disclaimer

This booking agreement is deemed to be an agreement between the guest and ANZ SKY TOURS. This Agreement is subject to and in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and is not inconsistent with its legal provisions. Once customer has chosen the services provided by ANZ SKY TOURS, it is deemed to follow the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Court and therefore agrees to unconditionally comply with all the legal provisions of the New Zealand Court.
